Why is Healthcare.gov Sending Me Notices?

If you purchased a plan through the marketplace, Healthcare.gov will send you notices regarding your eligibility and any changes to your plan. It is important to review these notices carefully, especially if they mention premium adjustments or changes to your tax credits.

If you receive a notice about premium changes or tax credit updates, please notify our team immediately by emailing [email protected].

Don’t ignore requests for documentation. If Healthcare.gov asks you to submit proof of information, respond promptly, as failing to do so may affect your tax credit eligibility.

If you receive an Eligibility Notice related to changes we've made to your healthcare application, you need not take any action. However, if you receive any other requests for documentation, please forward them to us for review.
